A Week In Orlando

We spent last week in Orlando Florida for Father’s Day.  Our daughter, Leela lives and works in Orlando as a video game artist.

We went to Sea World, our favorite theme park. It’s the animals that draw us there and the clean caring environment that we enjoy. The killer whales thrive here and the research work and rescue work scientists do helps preserve them and the other animals in the wild.

The sketches all were done from life at Sea World on 3.5”x 5” 60 lb 400 series Strathmore Sketchbook paper.

Sea World Sketches below were all done using Memory ink brush pen, sepia ink and waterbrush

We also visited Lake Eola and ate at the Relax Grill, on the lake, fabulous hamburgers.

These sketches below were drawn in a 3.5”x 5” 60 lb 400 series Strathmore Sketchbook. This sketchbook is my portable journal, I have used it for many years and I don’t mind jotting down any information on any subject I need on it, it’s so all purpose and strong enough for ink washes.
